Hello, I'm Daytona Everett! As a reporter and anchor for NBC Palm Springs, I get paid to pursue my dreams.

In seventh grade, I learned that journalism was calling. Through a "video production" class I dipped my toes into every avenue of the business. I never looked back.

 

As a broadcast student at the University of Missouri, I learned the importance of ethical, fact-based reporting. A former competitive athlete, I was able to get my hands dirty while learning a new topic through each assignment.

 

As an experienced journalist, I've honed my skills so that when I walk into work, my goal is to produce impactful content for the communities I serve. This world needs reliable journalism and I am so proud to be a provider.
